GI Map

$597.00

If your gut could talk, it would have a lot to say. The GI-MAP test is how we actually let it.

The GI-MAP test is a comprehensive stool test that looks at what’s really going on in your gut: bacteria (good and bad), parasites, yeast, inflammation markers, digestion and absorption function, and even markers tied to leaky gut. Bloating, irritable bowel stuff, food sensitivities, skin issues, brain fog, fatigue, autoimmune flares, so much of it traces back to the gut, and this test is how we stop guessing and start looking.

To be upfront: this isn’t a diagnostic tool and it won’t replace your doctor. What it will do is give us real, specific data on what’s happening in your gut, so your plan is built around your actual results instead of a generic protocol.

What the GI-MAP Test Looks At

The GI-MAP (GI Microbial Assay Plus) uses DNA-based technology called qPCR to measure the actual amount of each organism in your stool, not just whether it’s there. That means we can see what’s overgrown, what’s missing, and what needs attention. Your results cover:

  • Pathogens: bacteria, parasites, and viruses that can cause digestive upset
  • H. pylori: a common stomach bacteria, plus the factors that make certain strains more likely to cause trouble
  • Beneficial bacteria: the good guys that protect your gut lining and help make vitamins
  • Opportunistic bacteria: microbes that cause problems when they overgrow
  • Yeast and fungi: including Candida
  • Parasites and worms
  • Gut health markers: digestion (pancreatic elastase), inflammation (calprotectin), gut immune function (secretory IgA), gluten reactivity (anti-gliadin), and estrogen recycling (beta-glucuronidase)

Why I Include Zonulin

Your GI-MAP test comes with zonulin added on. Zonulin is a protein that helps control how tightly the cells of your gut lining are held together. When it’s elevated, it’s a sign of increased intestinal permeability, often called leaky gut. Knowing this helps me decide how much to focus on repairing your gut lining.

How Your GI-MAP Test Works

It’s 100% virtual, no office visit required.

Step 1: You get a kit in the mail
Once you book, I’ll send you an at-home stool collection kit with clear, simple instructions. You collect your sample at home and mail it to the lab yourself.

Step 2: You fill out an in-depth health intake
This gives me the full picture: your history, symptoms, and lifestyle. It’s the stuff that doesn’t show up on a lab report but absolutely matters.

Step 3: The lab processes your sample
Once your kit is received, the lab runs the analysis and I get your full results.

Step 4: We meet virtually to go over everything
In a 1-hour video appointment, we’ll walk through your results together: what’s showing up, what it means, and the specific nutrition, supplement, and lifestyle recommendations built just for your gut.

Is the GI-MAP Test Right for You?

This test is a great fit if you:

  • Deal with bloating, gas, constipation, or loose stools that never seem to go away
