Ingredients

Scale

2 cups white rice (jasmine or basmati recommended)

1.5 cups bone broth

2 tbsp butter (or ghee for a richer flavor)

2 tbsp fresh minced garlic (or substitute 2 tbsp jarred garlic)

Instructions

  1. Turn the Instant Pot to Sauté mode.

  2. Add butter and garlic and sauté for 2 minutes, stirring frequently until fragrant.

  3. Pour in bone broth and stir to deglaze the bottom of the pot.

  4. Add rice, stir once, then secure the lid.

  5. Cook on High Pressure for 3 minutes.

  6. Allow a natural release for 10 minutes, then perform a quick release for any remaining pressure.

  7. Fluff rice with a fork and serve warm.

Notes

  • Fresh herbs like parsley, cilantro, or chives make great add-ins for extra flavor and color.

  • Try mixing in lemon zest, crushed red pepper, or a pinch of thyme for variety.

  • You can substitute jarred minced garlic if you’re in a pinch—use the same amount.
