The Heart of the Pizza: Homemade Sauce
Recipe: Easy Homemade Pizza Sauce
Ingredients:
6 oz tomato paste
15oz tomato sauce
1 tbsp dried oregano
2 tbsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp ground pepper
1 tsp sugar- I used monk fruit
Instructions:
Mix wet ingredients
Add seasonings and mix
Store in fridge
Crafting the Foundation: Foolproof Pizza Dough
I did this all by hand since I do not have a mixer, having a mixer would probably make it easier!
Recipe: Easy Pizza Dough
Ingredients:
2 cups lukewarm water
1 tbsp active yeast
1 tbsp sugar
4.5 cups of all purpose flower
2 tsp salt
1 tbsp avocado oil
Instructions:
Dissolve the sugar in lukewarm water. Once the sugar is all dissolved, add the dry active yeast to water and let it bloom for about 10 minutes-this piece is important don’t skip it!
while that is blooming, mix salt and 3 cups of flour in a sperate bowl.
Add the yeast mixture to the flour and slowly add in the rest of the flour.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-10 minutes

Coat the ball of dough with the avocado oil
Loosely cover the bowl until it doubles in size
Shape into pizza shape
